We have been busy the last week or so getting ready for Christmas! The boys had their end of year Christmas party at daycare, complete with baby farm animals, face painting and a visit from Santa :) We got to listen to the boys sing lots of different Christmas carols.

We celebrated Noahs 2nd birthday last weekend, it was a hot day so we had a great afternoon all swimming in the pool. He loved his penguin cake :)

On Wednesday we went on a boat cruise along the Mandurah canals with my mothers group, to view all the Christmas lights. Just amazing the trouble people go to to decorate their homes, they looked so beautiful. The boys were lucky enough to get their faces painted by Jenelle, she is very clever and we all looked wonderful!

On Friday we had yet another Christmas party at playgroup- another visit from Santa and more presents! Santa must be sooo busy this time of the year ;) Only 5 days till christmas day, we are all ready and waiting!!!

We have been busy this week attending some Christmas celebrations.
Tues night we went to the Mandurah Christmas pageant on the foreshore, we even stayed for
the fireworks at 9pm, which we didnt expect to do with three little vegemites in tow!

We also went to the local Christmas party in the park, not far from where we live. The boys loved seeing Santa and even got a turn to ring his special bell ;)

I am starting to love summer and all the things we can do together as a family. We are all
so excited about Christmas!!

Not alot to report on this week!

We have been doing lots of Christmas shopping though, and put up the tree on Monday night. I dont think I have ever seen Jacob so excited! He is loving the Christmas cards that arrive in the mail, he calls them his 'Christmas books' and keeps them in a little bucket in the toy room. Such an old man! ;)

At least the weather has been good this week, so the boys have been able to play outside alot. They are so obsessed with the sandpit lately. I just gave them an old muffin tray and they are having a ball making banana cupcakes for me :)

We had an action packed weekend!! The boys went shopping & out to lunch on Saturday afternoon with Grandad and Irene, while Mummy and Abbey did some bits and peices at the shops and some household chores- what fun! Then we all went to Adventure World for Grandads work Christmas party. The boys had a great night- even though Mummy banned swimming after 7.30pm due to blue lips and shivering bodies ;) They were still kept entertained though by Santa, the chairlift and lots of other things to see!

Mason was very hesitant about Santa....

And hesitant about the huge pools too... but it took him no longer than 10 mins to get into the spirit ;)

Jacob, on the other hand....well we couldnt get him out of the water. Every day he still talks about Adventure World and asks when we are going to go back....
Sunday was busy too with an afternoon tea to celebrate Grandads birthday (Grandad Willis). Lots of cake and slices, and playing with their cousin Noah of course :) A busy, fun filled weekend which was nice for a change.

4 months today...

Abbey is 4 months old today... where has the time gone!??! It really does go fast when its #3, the days are just so busy and it goes like a flash.

I love the way she smiles with her eyes....

We got our baby kompowe in the mail today from my friend Kristi :) Abbey was very happy to be in it- close to mummy so why wouldnt she!!! I think it will be good to use when im out with all three on my own.

Well my baby girl turns 4 months old in just 74 mins time :( It goes so fast, I cannot believe shes a third of a year old already (*sook, sook*)
Every day she is learning new things and growing up before my eyes. She is always putting her hands in her mouth, so I gave her some chew toys today- she thought they were great.

Better brag about my other two gorgeous children ;)
Mason is doing so well, wearing jocks all day long and he hardly ever has accidents. He just learns everything so quickly, and this has been no exception.
Jacob is getting ready for kindy next year, he can write his name all by himself and does a good job if I do say so myself :)
They are both growing up so fast. I am so glad they have each other, they are so close- I am worried how Jacob will go entering Kindy next yr tho, they usually do every single thing together...maybe the time apart will do them good... once the tears are gone....

Today Mason wanted to show Abbey the singing bear she got as a present before she was born. It moves its head from side to side and sings. I think she was in shock hahaha!! very funny to watch...
I also took a photo of Abbeys wardrobe, I just love seeing all the pretty little dresses hanging in there :)
We had a busy morning playing at Owen's house, then a lazy afternoon playing at home :)

Another busy day...
Abbey & I went shopping with Katie and Noah- both kids were sooo good for their mummies, made shopping alot easier :) Thankfully the boys stayed home with Dad. Here is Abbey all ready for shopping!

All the christmas shopping done now...well unless Santa sees anything else he takes a liking too ;)

The boys had a fun, messy morning outside playing with their favourite things- sand and water...

What a tiring day..... so tiring infact, that Jacob fell asleep on the job!!!

A November weekend...

We have had a lovely, though busy, weekend! Yesterday we spent time with one of my closest friends Kylie, we just hung out while our hubbies played golf- oh what a life!! (For the men i mean...)
Heres a photo of both our daughters together- who would think they are only 5 weeks apart!?!? Abbey is such a boof head ;)

Today the boys and I made cupcakes- what a messy morning! Then Abbey and I went to a baby shower in the afternoon- Abbey got all dressed up for the occasion... she thought eating her dress was the most exciting part of the day I think ;)

We finished off the day watching 'Over the Hedge', snuggled up on the couch eating chocolate. No better way to finish off a lovely weekend! My boys certainly inherit their parents love of sweet food....

Seems almost everyone is keeping a blog at the moment... well I have decided to join the parade :) I thought it might be a good way to spend some time at the end of the day reflecting on my life as a mother, and the time I spend with my three children, and what we have been up to.

Watch this space ;)
